RJ #8 10/18/11
I have just finished reading the book Abraham Lincoln It is a great book I loved every little part of it.I learned a lot from this book big things not like he was the 16th president of the united states but also how hard his life was as he grew up he only had one year of learning and worked by the age of 8 years old on his dads farm he helped his dad a lot.
"He will be remembered from all the things he did because everything he did from a homework assignment all the way to free the slaves he went above and beyond on each task that he did and what he was assigned to do in memory of great Abe" LAST PG OF BOOK
I picked this passage because just by looking at it, it was very emotional so imagine how much it pulled my attention like a cliff-hanger.
The genre of this book is biography, the main idea of this book is Abraham Lincoln's life, the topic of this book is Abraham Lincoln. Another title I would give this book is "Abe you the man",. because he was a absolute leader. The pattern of organization is identify and explain. The message the author is trying send is everybody can make a big impact on the world no matter what race you actually are. Some text features I found were nice illustration of where he lived and some very cool photographs of him.
I would rate thi book a ten out of 10 because it was just outstanding you have to read the book to understand what I am saying.
Sincerely, B.P
Dear ,
ReplyDeleteYour Readers Journal was great. I just have a few questions.
First, what was the P.O.O.? Also what would you do in the main characters shoes? Lastly, what was your favorite part?
Sincerely,
Mikey
Dear Bar,
ReplyDeleteGood Reader's journal but I know you can do better.
First I think you check you Rj because I didn't see Apostraphes and commas, ETC.
What was the P.O.V?
How did you know the P.O.O was identify and explain?
What was some descriptive language?
Can you be more specific then what you put on your M.I?
And last what were some supporting details?
